The cost to repair bumper scuffs varies significantly depending on how much repair work is required before re-painting & how much of the bumper will need to be painted & lacquered
This can range from a small trim section on the corner of a bumper, to almost the whole bumper needing to be repaired & painted.
A ‘typical’ repair on a corner like the one shown in the photo is usually around £120 + VAT and would take a single day to repair
If the scratch has broken through the panel, then it will need to be prepared, painted & lacquered to repair it.
Depending on where the scratch is on the panel, as well as the colour, this will determine if the adjacent panel(s) will also need the paint blending onto them & lacquering.
If we can just repair, paint & lacquer a single panel a ‘typical’ cost is usually £175+VAT and can be completed in a single day.
Small car park ‘ding’ dents where the paint has not been damaged can often be repaired using PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) which is usually around £65+VAT
If the dent is a large one, or has damaged the paint, ir will require preparation ready for painting & lacquering.
A ‘typical’ dent repair on a single panel which needs re-painting is usually around £175+VAT and completed in 1 or 2 days.
Wheels come in many different finishes and colours, and can be damaged in all sorts of ways from a small scuff on the rim of a painted wheel, to corrosion on a diamond turned wheel.
We provide a range or repair & refinish services enabling us to get most damaged wheels back to new or even better than new in some cases.
The most common repair seen in the photo is a scuff on the rim of a painted wheel which is usually around £75+VAT to repair
Repairing stone chips to make them invisible, is the same process as repairing a scratch (see scratches above for pricing), but another option is to ‘Touch Up’ the chips with paint on a brush to protect the metal panel & ‘take you eye off’ the chip.
This is not an invisible repair, it just offers protection to the panel, and we prefer not to offer these ‘Touch Ups’ as the visual results are not great & could be achieved by the vehicle owner if they purchased their own touch up paint kit from either a main dealer or a motor accessory store like Halfords, etc
