Bumper Repairs

The paintwork repair will have been given it’s initial cure under our infra-red lamps, but will not be fully cured for between 3 and 7 days depending upon ambient temperatures.

During this curing time, do not use a mechanical car wash or pressure washer on the repair area(s), but it can be hosed with domestic water pressure.

No harsh chemicals should be applied to the freshly painted area(s) while curing is taking place.

A wax or other protective coating should be applied to the repair area(s) after 7 days to help protect the paintwork and maintain a high gloss appearance.

If your fresh paint should unfortunately become contaminated with bird lime, tree sap or any other unawanted substance within the 3-7 days then please only use a soft clean cloth with warm water.

Place this over he contamination for a few minutes & gently rinse, DO NOT SCRUB or apply any pressure to the new paint.

If this does not work then please contact us at the care centre so we can advise you.

Paintless Dent Remaoval

As this method of dent removal does not require the damaged area(s) to be painted, so there is no aftercare procedure needed.

If access to the rear of the damage was gained by drilling an access hole, this will have had a watertight grommet fitted to ‘bung’ the hole.

Alloy Wheel Repairs

The wheel repair will have been given it’s initial cure under our infra-red lamps, but will not be fully cured for between 3 and 7 days depending upon ambient temperatures.

No harsh chemicals should be applied to the freshly painted wheel(s) while curing is taking place.
