The tyre, valves and pressure sensors are removed and the wheel is chemically stripped, then shotblasted inside and out.
It is then powder coated with a high build and extremely durable primer, painted the required colour, and powder coated with a high build lacquer to achieve a durable finish. If the alloy wheel has been badly scuffed & a significant ‘chunk’ of alloy has been removed you may need a full refurbishment, this is because the wheel will need to have new alloy welded in before being diamond turned on the lathe & then refinished.
